A NOTE FROM THE MAYOR...
I am truly glad with the launch of our Official Website after quite sometime of planning and conceptualizing the idea of putting this up over the World Wide Web. I take pride in this milestone as it clearly demonstrates our earnest effort of upping up the ante of public service in Marihatag.
With the website now online, many of our PPAs (programs, projects and activities), services and a collection of files and related resources will already become accessible to the public in the locality or anywhere in the world. It’s going to be the foremost platform for mass communication and mass media for our beloved, Marihatag! Although this website is a work in progress, surely, the Municipality of Marihatag will be at your service online at a click of a button.
Our partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) recently paved the way for a Free Internet Wi-Fi Hotspot in the Municipal Hall as well as in the area lying within the circumference of the municipal grounds. Because of this, many of our residents and guests can now connect online via this Free Public Wi-Fi Hotspot. With our homepage now online, we have even made your local government unit closer to your hands and your hearts.
There is much more to be done in our beloved town, and in the midst of digitalization and this digital age, we cannot be remiss in our responsibility to keep Marihatag abreast of the trends and tracks of the present.
We have not only found our town a domain name, but we have also finally found for her an address online – marihatag.gov.ph
